If you like vodka, then a visit to Restaurant 55 is a must. This restaurant is very unusual because not only do they sell vodka here – they also make it. As well as enjoying great cuisine accompanied by live music, guests can also discover the vodka-making process at the Museum of Samane which conveniently is part of the resturant; Samane is Lithuanian for ‘home-made‘. Because the restaurant is so proud of its vodka, there is also a theatrical presentation of Semane performed for guests. This is a fantastic night out; why not give it a try? But be careful; the name 55 refers to the strength of the vodka – bottoms up!
